Church Show on the 14th

We did a Church show last Saturday. This is part of our display. I think if we had used one more table, it would have been better. But this wasn't too bad since I hadn't done a show in about 5 years. We passed out lots of business cards and received lots of compliments.
For any orders, we will send a free Christmas raggy ornie. Just e-mail us at the bottom of this page. Photos can be sent and we love to do custom orders.

My Doll Quilts for 18" dolls

My oldest DGD, Sarah, has fallen in love with the American Dolls. So, naturally, I decided to make her doll a quilt. Then I thought it would be nice to make some for sale. Here are three of them. I am making these first ones with Civil War Reproduction fabrics, 100% quilt shop quality; warm n natural batting inside and a good quality muslin on the back. I also hand tied them and they come with a muslin pillow. The patchwork quilt is 19" square and is $19.99; the Log Cabin variation quilts are 18" and $15.99.
Please use the contact me info on the bottom of this page for any questions. I will also be listing them in my Hand Did Market Shop. I want them to be one of a kind (OOAK), so if the same quilt sells twice, I will make another one a little bit different.

Shopping Cart Handle Covers

My friend, Nancy (http://HugginsHaven.blogspot.com/) gave me the idea of making covers for shopping cart handles. These handmade covers are perfect to protect the hands from germs and sticky spots. The size is approximately 20" by 6.5" and are three layers thick. They are held together with velcro and comes in their own little bag with a Wet One Wipe packet.
These are One of a Kind (OOAK); if you see a print you like, let me know as I might have more. I am posting photos of some I've already made. I can make them for adults or juveniles; in your choice of colors and/or themes. They are $7.50 each; you can e-mail me by going to the bottom of this blog.

Hello! I'm the other half of the Raggy Anne mother/daughter team. I have been sewing for more than 40 years (that does make me old!). I started quilting in 2004 and discovered raggy quilting about 3 years ago. The pink and purple quilt is one of the first quilts I made; I decided to make it larger, so it was a work in progress for awhile, lol.
Christmas of 2007, my DD needed to give gifts and didn't have much money. She liked my raggy quilts, so asked if I would help her make one. She bought the fabrics, designed the layout, and pinned it. I sewed it up and she clipped it. (The hot pink & lime green raggy quilt is on the top right side of this screen.) Since then, she has taken sewing classes and now sews herself too.

We make raggy quilts, blankies, ribbon taggies, burp cloths, tote bags and candle mats or hot pads and coasters. We also do Korker Bows, pincushions, and traditional tote bags.

We will be showing photos of some of our items. If you want us to do a custom order, just ask.
